Arrests in Peekskill, June 24 through June 26, 2011

FRIDAY, June 24

2:25 p.m. Anthony Kalicharin, 32, of Peekskill was arrested at Police Headquarters and charged with sex offender failed to report proper address, a Class E felony. Kalicharin, who is a level 3 sex offender, improperly reported his address as being on Crompond Road when in fact he is a resident of 653 Washington St. Kalicharin was charged following an investigation by Det.Ralph  D’Aliso and was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.

FRIDAY, June 24

8:15 p.m. Oscar Jackson, 63, of Peekskill was arrested on the 10 block of Broad Street and charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class B felony. Jackson, who was wanted for CSCS to an undercover police officer related to last week’s sweep by city police, was located by Patrol Officer Joe McGann and taken into custody without incident. He was additionally charged with CPCS 7 after being found in possession of a small quantity of heroin.

SUNDAY, June 26

4:45 p.m. Edward Gauthier, 23, of Buchanan and Mathew Troccoli, 22, of Peekskill were arrested on Welcher Avenue following a traffic stop. Following the stop, Officer Matt Basso found Gauthier to be in possession of numerous prescription medications (Methadone, Dilaudid, Klonopin, Suboxone) which he intended to sell, and Troccoli in possession of one prescription (Suboxone) pill for personal use. Gauthier is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies and Troccoli is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor. Both were held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court without bail.
