
Nearly two dozen arrested in drug sweep by Peekskill police
Peekskill Police have released the names of suspects arrested in the major drug sweep conducted throughout the city on Tuesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 22.
Here’s the press release from the police department.
The following individuals were arrested on 6/21 following a drug raided at 404 South St. conducted by the City of Peekskill Tactical Response Unit:
Arnold Archibald 22yo Bronx resident – 2cts CSCS3rd, Resisting Arrest (Archibald fled the apartment and was apprehended after a brief foot chase) Natalie Tirado 22yo Bronx resident – 1ct CPCS 3, 1ct Burglary 2 (Tirado fled the apartment upon the entry of police and broke into a second apartment in an attempt to escape. She was found in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine) Michael Phelps 58yo Peekskill resident – 1ct CSCS 3, 1ct Criminal Nuisance
The raid kicked off a multi-jurisdictional drug sweep in the City of Peekskill which resulted in the arrest of the following individuals:

The year-long investigation, which was a collaborative effort between the City of Peekskill Police, the Westchester County Department of Public Safety, and the New York State Police, targeted street level dealers who sold crack, heroin, prescription medications, and marijuana to undercover police officers. The investigation is ongoing as several suspects who remain at large are actively being pursued.
