Arrests in Peekskill, June 7 through June 13, 2011

TUESDAY, June 7

12:30 p.m. Robert Patterson, 34, of Peekskill was arrested on the 100 block of Nelson Avenue and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor. Patterson was located on the 100 block of Nelson Avenue and placed under arrest for intentionally damaging a door on the 200 block of Smith Street on June 6. He was released on his own recognizance and is due in Peekskill City Court on June 20. Officer Chris Vazeos made the arrest.

WEDNESDAY, June 8

7:50 p.m. Nelson Fernandez, 22, of Peekskill was arrested on the 100 block of Washington Street and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor. Fernandez was charged after being found outside the home of a female acquaintance who held a valid stay away order of protection against him. He was held without bail pending his arraignment in Peekskill City Court. Officer John Merritt made the arrest.

SUNDAY, June 12

2:30 a.m. Edward Caprillo, 49, of Peekskill was arrested at Hudson Avenue and Fremont Street and charged with DWI, a Class A misdemeanor. Caprillo was charged after being involved in an automobile accident at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Fremont Street where he was found to be intoxicated. Further investigation revealed Caprillo had a blood alcohol content of .16%. Caprillo was released on his own recognizance and is due in Peekskill City Court on June 23. Officer Anthony Nappi made the arrest.

MONDAY, June 13

9:15 a.m. Curtis Dimmie, 23, of Mohegan Lake was arrested at Dunbar Heights and charged with third-degree criminal assault, a Class A misdemeanor. Dimmie was charged following a domestic dispute in which he slapped a female  acquaintance in the head and face causing her injury. Dimmie was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court. Officer Doug LaPerche made the arrest.
