William A. Morley Jr., August 23, 2011

William A. Morley Jr., 83, a life-long Cortlandt Manor resident, has been called home by the Lord on August 23, 2011 to be reunited with his beloved wife Barbara Morley and his daughter Lois (Morley) Haass.

Born June 15, 1928, son of William A. and Pearl (Crookston) Morley. He married Barbara Keesler on September 14, 1951. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage. William worked in the automotive industry with a combined of fifty-years of service between Peekskill Ford Motors and Lockwood Motors, both of Peekskill. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950-52.

William is survived by his son William A. (Diane) Morley, III; his son in law Walter Haass Jr; and his grandchildren Brenda Morley, Walter W. (Elizabeth) Haass III, and Theresa (Kevin) Rowland. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Raven & Erin Morley and Emma & Benjamin Haass; and his brother, John Morley. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara on December 26, 2003 and his daughter Lois Morley-Haass on March 29, 2000; and also his brothers Charles and Robert Morley and his sisters Gloria Guzi and Ruth Meyer.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a funeral services will be held 10am, Friday, August 26th followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
