Cynthia D. Tims, 52, a resident of Peekskill since 2000, formerly from NYC, passed away August 18, 2011. She was born February 24, 1959, daughter of the late Alfonia and Margaret (Freeman) Tims. Cynthia worked as a project coordinator for 10 years with the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church of Peekskill.

Cynthia is survived by her long-time companion Alfonso Frazier, and their daughter Kiara Frazier. Her brother Ron Tims and nephew Bryan Tims also survive her. Her brother Alfonia Tims also predeceased her. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 23rd from 9 – 11 am at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 11 Rev. G. Franklin Wiggins Plz, Peekskill, where the funeral service will be offered at 11 am, followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
