Richard "Richie" Segnit, Sr., August 8, 2011

Richard "Richie" Segnit, Sr., a life long Peekskill resident, passed away on August 8, 2011. He was 73 years old. He was born on January 9, 1938 in Peekskill to John Joseph and Rose Ragonia Segnit. An Iron Worker and Certified Welder; Richie owned Specialty Welding and Custom Trailers in Peekskill. He served in the US Navy. Richie was a member of the Road Knights and the Tobacco Road Car Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Joanne Segnit of Palm Coast, FL, a son, Richard Segnit, Jr. of Concord, CA, two brothers; John (Pat) Segnit, Thomas (Sue) Segnit, a sister, Rosemarie Hoyt and a grandson, Randy King, Jr. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by two brothers; Paul Segnit, Sr. and Robert Segnit. Visiting hours are Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral Mass Friday, 10am, Assumption Church.
