Martha L. Lepore a lifelong Peekskill resident, passed away on Monday, August 08, 2011 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx.

Martha was a Teacher's Aide in the Peekskill School District retiring in 1998. She was born on May 26, 1939 to Michael and Martha (Demchar) LaBoda. Martha was raised and educated in the Peekskill Schools. On June 19, 1960 she married the late Nunzio D. Lepore at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Peekskill. She was a life member of the Centennial Hose Ladies Auxiliary. Among her many interests Martha was an avid bowler and active member of the W.I.B.C. and Past President of the Westchester Chapter. She also loved spending time with her husband and friends and could be found playing Bingo at the local Bingo games each week. Martha was also a member of the Peekskill Sr. Citizens Club.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Eileen) of Lake Peekskill, Nunzio, Jr., of Peekskill, and Marcia (Ted) Petrocine, of Beacon; also brothers, Michael, Peter and Richard LaBoda, and sisters Michalene Lounsbury, Patricia Richardson, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will all miss her. Martha was predeceased by her husband Nunzio in May 2011.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd. Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Assumption Church in Peekskill, on Thursday, August 11th at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
